Principle
Deburring is a process that removes the “burrs” that have formed on the edges of a part following cutting, in order to make them smooth and clean.
Methods and tools
There are many deburring techniques. For simple manual abrasion, you will need tools such as files, an angle grinder, deburring wheels, etc. At the same time, there are also mechanical-chemical processes, such as tribo-finishing or barrel-polishing, as well as automated deburring machines.

Thanks to deburring, you can obtain a part of much better quality, which can be assembled with great precision and whose edges will no longer be sharp.
Precautions
Before carrying out any deburring work, make sure you protect yourself with suitable personal protection equipment : goggles, masks, gloves, earplugs, helmets, overalls, etc.
